Course Outline:
HDFF's five day intensive Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) certified by Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) has been carefully designed to assimilate low, medium and high risk environmental awareness for Humanitarian Workers facing risks in the field. Included is a 3 day field training putting theory into practice at Cha am's Naresuan “Law Enforcement Training Centre” Camp, where serving police officers come to be trained giving a realistic as possible experience.
Course Objectives:
- Improve staff's knowledge of multiple threats in hostile field environment
- Show how to cope with and manage situations and stress once caught in situations such as checkpoint behaviour, ambush and active shooter, hostile crowds, kidnapping, as well as rescue by force
- Learn how to effectively work and act as a team member when under pressure
Please note that registration deadline for nationals that require visa to Thailand closed on 30 September 2019
All successful participants will be receive a certificate of completion at the end of the training.
